Egg design is nicer than a round, oval, or square plastic box. Options on remote are good. Do not like the green dots that are supposed to represent stars. They look nothing like stars however you have the option to turn them off or have them fade up and fade out. This projection device mimics water reflections in the choice of 3 colors or 2 mixed colors. Does not mimic aurora borealis. I have been fortunate to have seen aurora borealis and do not know of a projector that can project them realistically. If you know of one please let me know!

Overall we really like this projector nightlight for our son, however, for the price of it, you’d think we would have received a USB base to plug the cord into. It’s the least the seller could provide.

It’s a beautiful night light, one of the prettiest I’ve ever tried. I always find LED a bit harsh, even with LED xmas lights indoors. So I wish there were a way to soften the intensity of the green LED stars; maybe just by dimming them. I also wish the LED stars came in different colors. A white color more like stars would be nice. Even a faint yellow seems nicer. Maybe even a little glass/plastic colored filter window with different colors could be place on top a white LED light to offer more variety. I also wish there were more stars (a wheel that could be turned to place different colors over the LED). I also wish there were twice the stars, but half the size. If the egg could move very slowly, automatically, that would add to soothing quality and give a natural motion to the lights, but would add to the expense! I love the way the egg can be moved around in its base so you can angle the stars as you like. The stars do fill most of the room, except the floor. I don’t really want the music or sound effects myself because the speaker isn’t the best quality. The sound effects didn’t sound convincing because of the poor speaker quality. But I do think sound is a fun idea for a higher end model. And sound is great for little kids or babies, especially with the lullabies included. It was surprising, during setup, to suddenly hear the audiobook I had been playing on my phone piped through the egg!! The app, called “Smart Night Light”, was easy to find in the App Store and set up.

I bought this for my daughter as we’re about to move and I plan on using this as a nightlight in her new room. I had also hoped that as she grew she could use the Bluetooth speaker with her phone to listen to music with it but unfortunately, that’s not possible though, it is advertised in the slides that you can use the Bluetooth for that purpose even though that’s false.I initially wasn’t overly impressed by the range of the projection but the stand the egg sits on allows you to adjust it at different angles which is pretty genius.Either way our daughter loves it and so does my husband so aside from myself everyone is impressed and I’ll still get my money’s worth from it.It just bums me out that it seems there are features missing that would be fantastic to have and I don’t appreciate the false advertising of such features.EDIT: I have since discovered how to use the bluetooth speaker on the projector after spending a night awake messing with it so my rating has now been upped to reflect that all my expectations have now been met.For those who don’t know as the Bluetooth pairing works odd and I didn’t see a how to in the instruction manual. When you are in the music section of the app you need to make sure to set it to Bluetooth mode and then pair your phone to the device while it’s in Bluetooth mode. You may have to refresh your pairing list on your phone to prompt it to appear but that’s how it works. The speaker is decent not high quality but it’s satisfactory.

I have trouble getting to sleep and light usually bothers me, but this light on my ceiling is hypnotic and helps me relax. Love the timer. Plan to send one of these to my grandchildren.

Great night light and tune when I put my daughter to sleep. Give it 4.5 stars, Bluetooth doesn’t seem to work and wish I could change the color of the “stars”

I bought 3. One for me and one for my 2 grandchildren…but the adults loved it just as much. Great color, sound…only the remote failed to operate from my chair…needs line of sight, direct and then it worked perfectly. Very giftable.

The light is so nice and bright, it has a Bluetooth option for music. The only down side is it has to plug to the computer and not the wall. I wish it was a wall plug instead.
