Mr. Carburetor –
This is a very bright light when it’s functional. Unfortunately, the solar panel is attached to the light housing and cannot be independently aimed to collect late day sun in autumn. On a wet, cloudy day, the light operation shuts off by 1 AM. My light is set to operate in mode 2, dimly lit until motion is detected. That option works well until the stored energy is depleted. It operates longer on sunny days, since it stores more energy. I’m considering switching to mode 3, which provides no light until motion is detected. That should provide a longer run-time in autumn and winter, while providing a security light all night (or most of it) when motion is detected. The light is easy to install. The light can be tilted up and down to aim, which also tilts the solar panel. The wing lights can be widened, but not rotated up or down. It’s a very good, bright light for the money, if you can live with the limitations of solar lighting. The fixed position solar panel is a drawback, because the position cannot be optimized. Nonetheless, the panel works within those limitations. It’s a keeper!

Not usually one to leave a review – but I felt like I should. These lights are definitely worth it. For the price, I don’t feel like you can beat them. We wanted an affordable way to put a little light in our backyard so we went with these lights. The picture attached shows that 2 of the lights illuminate half of our fenced in backyard. I will be ordering 2 more for the other half! If you want an affordable, easy to install option that provides a great amount of light, these are a great choice. The motion sensor picked me up from about 30 feet away with no problem.

There are three modes of operation: I chose the option for motion detection only as my light faces my neighbor’s window so I don’t want it on all the time. Once activated, it stays on for about 20 seconds and turns off again. The other two modes are (1) full light, and (2) dawn to dusk. There are a lot of positives about the lights but, from reading other reviews, I expected the trigger distance to be greater. So far in my limited testing, you can get as close as 15 feet from the light before it turns on. I would have preferred a greater engagement distance for the price. While perceptively bright, you can’t use this as a true “floodlight” as it’s only 600 lumens and there are other solar-powered lights sold by Amazon that is over double that output (1800). The “throw” or arc of range is only about 20ft (maybe) after that it’s too weak to really be useful for seeing in the dark.Lastly, I would like to point out that the “What’s in the box” is inaccurate. There are no “batteries included” – it’s solar. Also, it says, “Bulb included” – which I would hope so, all 250 of them (LEDs).

I don’t normally purchase “solar weatherproof” lights. So I took a gamble on this. Glad to say that it took me by surprise on how great these lights worked out! They’re a little on the cheaper side, but you get what you pay for. The install is quick and easy, everyone and their grandma’s can do it. I give it a 4 out of 5 star due to how fast these lights die if you leave it on setting(s) 1 & 2. Had this for a week, and through trial and error, the most suitable mode to leave it on was mode 3. The screws that comes with the packaging are also poorly made. Had one of the screw heads for the wall mount break during installation. Overall a good buy. Would definitely purchase again!

I gave this product overall a 4 star. I actually had a return in for it but decided to keep them. I wish the solar part was able to adjust. I have it drilled onto a tree we have that does get full sun but for placement purposes would be nice to move the solar panel for the look. The motion is great the brightness is excellent but has not lasted throughout the night. It is coming to winter so hopefully in the summer it was change but so far has not made it through the night. I also wish they had a warm version of this light. Overall, great product but I would make slight changes.

Didn’t like that main light with motion sensor is in fixed location relative to solar panels. Optimal sun light position may not be motion sensor optimal position or spotlight position. I made it work by mounting it to gutter which I wanted to avoid but it’s working.

So upon arrival I noticed these where smaller than I thought. Installation was only 5 minutes. They charged enough while it was snowing so I could see them work. They are really bright. Motion seems to work rather well. They will blink if they are covered by snow but wipe them off and back to normal you go. We’ve been having snow storms the past 2 weeks and these things still charge up and never not worked when they where supposed to. I put one up in the backyard to watch the dogs and one in the driveway. I would recommend these.

I’ve had this outdoor lights for a while now. They are bright but the only complain here is that they are somewhat small, and they don’t stay on for a while. If there is too much movement they will only stay on for a few hours. Even if there was plenty of sunshine during the day. Othen than that they are good lights and the sensor picks up my dogs walking by.
