Price, Ease of installation, and most of all, functionality.2 lights for this price I would have almost expected to only get 1 at the price. They’re all I needed to light my whole back yard. Lawn is 50 feet across. Each light is super bright, the side light panels that can be angled are wonderful. Allows to fill a large area with a lot of light. The motion sensitivity is perfectly responsive.Installation was as easy as it gets. drill 2 holes for the anchors, screw the light holder in, then just plop the light right down in it. Super easy to just pop right back out to change the function for instance we had a Halloween party and I wanted it on the fully on mode so it was super easy to just pop it out, press the button to the desired mode and pop back in. Solar charge lasts quite a long time too if you need it on for a few hours.As the headline said, I really couldn’t have asked for better.Highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a super bright motion light that covers a lot of area.

This solar security light has all the features I wanted.1. It angles well so it’s not shining into my neighbor’s window but I can also direct light down the driveway.2. It’s solar so it saved me from hiring an electrician to run wires.3. It stays on low all night but lights up very bright if there’s motion in the driveway – it’s great to come home and have the light come on without wasting electricity all night, or if I need to take out the trash without needing to flip a switch. I’ve also had someone come in my driveway to rifle through my car so I feel like this is a good deterrent.I have it mounted about 20 feet from the sidewalk so it comes on when you walk up the driveway to within 10 to 15 feet – so it is not overly sensitive. The solar light is surprisingly bright (it’s a cold white) and has worked well even after cloudy days with little sun. It’s mounted on the east side of my house.The pictures show when it’s on low, when there’s movement and it comes on high, and a closeup of how I have it angled.

We rent on a farm that is very rural and very dark at night. We love the fact that there is no light pollution, however, when going out to the barn at night, we always have to grab a flashlight. Having purchased similar solar powered spot lights in the past, we decided that we needed one for outside the barn door BUT it had to have the capability to direct the lighting where we needed it and not just a fixed pattern. We chose this one after reading over all the reviews on several models. This light was super easy to install on the electric pole next to the barn – mounted towards the south. We could not be happier with this light. It detects motion as soon as either of us approaches from a good 20+ft away. Love that we can angle the two side lights to cast the light towards both the barn and the approach from the house. It’s been installed for about 2 weeks now and we have had no issues other that perfectly timed, bright lights! No more having to carry flashlights! We highly recommend this solar light!

I was actually very surprised with these solar lights. I had previosly bought a solar motion light at a retail store for about the same price but the brightness was so so low. I decided to give these a try and I got to say I was very pleased. For the same cost I got these and to make it even better there are two instead of just one. The brightness on these amazon lights is by far brighter than I expected. Install was really easy, the screws needed to attach them to the wall were included in the package. We are using one of the lights to light up our drive way. Our sons likes to play in the driveway and there is no light outlet so we needed something solar. So far they have been holding up pretty good battery life. We are happy to have light in our drive way evertime we are near by. My son can finally play at night and have light while he is there.

After an attempted break-in one night I realized there were areas around the house that were in darkness and provided hiding spots. I’m totally off grid and the house is solar powered, so I minimized outside ighting to keep the battery drain at nights as low as possible, plus it’s a pain to run wires everywhere.These solar powered lights looked to be the answer, low cost, would not drain my house batteies as they were self contained and seemed easy to install and could be directed. Another feature that was attractive was the three settings, with the dim light that brighted on movement detection being the one I thought would be most useful. So I ordered a two pack, which came well packed and worked with no problems right out of the box.These units don’t weight very mush, so installation can be made just about anywhere. You don’t need to put it on heavy construction. Installation is via a supplied bracket and screws and wall anchors are included. I was able to put up the two units in abut 30 minutes. I had left them in the sun for a day before using them, as recommended, and when I came to try them I was impressed. They turn on when the sun goes down, and as I set them for the dimm light permanantly on I found the light level to be adequate to show everything enough to be seen from inside the house. No more hiding spots.When the lights are triggered by the motion detector they go to full bright, which is surprisingly bright for the size. It’s good for moving around outside, and will also alert prowlers that they’ve been noticed. The range of the motion detector is very good, and the one I put over the front porch detects vehicles, bikes and even pedestrians walking past the house. It stays bright of about 15 seconds and then reverts to the low light. For me that’s fine, as if I’m moving around it stays on untill I leave.After installing the two lights and using them for a couple of weeks I ordered two more to cover some additional areas. I really like them.So far all pros, but there is one con. I gave installation only 4 stars, not because it’s difficult, it’s not, but I found that the mounting brackets did not always click on to the light. You are supposed to install the bracket and then drop the light onto it where it should click and latch in place. Of the four lamps only one bracket latched. The others allowed the lamp to be lifted off the bracket without dpresing the locking tab. In the end I installed two of them without the bracket, which you can do by directly screwing them onto the wall. Just make sure you have a long screwdriver, or screwdriver bit extension in your drill so you don’t damage the lights. Other than that, excellent product and great value.
