Got these to detour my guests from flipping on the light switches to the lights that are motion sensors or on smart timers. They look neat and clean. You can still turn on the switch through the side but it makes them stop and think at least. I strategically made the open part both face inside on the double switch one. And for the single switch one, I faced the opening away from the doorway so hopefully the guests won’t even see you can still turn them on..

Recently had an exhaust fan for my entire house installed where my bathroom fan previously was. The installers said that it is intended to be kept on at all times. Put one of these on there and haven’t had any trouble with people accidentally turning it off since. Used the other one on my garage door opener–I’ll have parties and concerts in my garage sometimes, and it seems invariably someone will choose to lean up against the wall right where the opener button is. Those days are over thanks to these handy covers!

My house has some switches near our coat hanger for the outdoor motion sensor lights, that often get accidentally turned off when we hang up our coats. These switch covers worked perfectly to cover the switch so we don’t accidentally turn off the motion sensor lights while also giving side access to the light to turn them off if we need to. Install was easy, just 2 screws and your done! No more fumbling with my keys in the dark because a jacket turned off the motion sensor lights!

We have a light switch in our kitchen that turns on the security lights in the back. It is a double switch but each switch operates different lights. Time and time again the switch for the security light gets switched on by mistake and does not get shut off (aggravating) so I bought this cover. The light has not been switched on by accident since it was installed and to me? Its money in the bank.

Easy to install. Effective as a deterrent or to keep from using the light switch covered when in a group of 2 or 3 light switches and is easy to flip the incorrect one. For example our porch light switch is with two other switches. We want that porch light to stay on because is motion sensitive. This cover identifies the light switch we want on and makes difficult accidental use of it.

I work with kids who like to turn the light switch on and off often so this item is great at preventing them from doing so.

So glad I found these look so much better than the duck dape we had on the switches before

Where I live the code requirement is that you furnace must be on a switch. When I have guests the furnace gets turned off. This will help with the switch getting flipped accidentally.
