The media could not be loaded. Β My granddaughter wanted a nightlight to fall asleep by and as sheβs not βa babyβ as she says, she wanted something different. I agreed since we spend this time together to read, say prayers then turn off the lights.When we saw this light we liked it because it had changeable scenes, a remote, timer and it could be charged so it had the option of being cordless and didnβt have a dangling cord to wrap up if she took it to a sleep over at her dadβs. That was until I found that the cord was very, very short-5β and did not plug into a wall socket! You had to plug it into a USB port! I thought how odd! You really have to charge this nightlight before you use it and it never said how long the charge lasted. The instructions included were on a small 2 Β½ x 2 Β½ card printed only in Chinese with no accompanying English translation either on the card or on a separate card. Full disclosure there is a demonstration on the Amazon order page but that is absolutely NOT sufficient enough nor can you call the demonstration any sort of instruction/directions.When I opened the box I found a very cute blue fish that was already put together and ready to be turned on if you could find which switch to click or push on. As presented from the box itβs suitable for an infant-toddler. But if the child is older you can remove the fish body and inside is a round cylinder. Included in the box are 6 different scenes of planets, a happy Birthday and I love you with cartoon characters, the cord and remote just as described. What they neglected to tell you is how to take the fish body off to get to the cylinder in English! There is step by step directions in Chinese however. I tried to twist, turn, lift but couldnβt get it off. I finally pried the body off by using a thin knife in between the top and bottom and carefully wiggling it back and forth in two or three places then finally popped it off! When I did I saw a groove where you somehow needed to get ahold of the top with two hands and hold the bottom rim(with your knees or a vice grip or have someone hold the bottom)then twist it to the right to loosen it. How was I to know that without reading directions?I would have packed it all up and returned it when I first saw that I needed to charge it via a USB port if my granddaughter hadnβt have been there trying to help me set it up and said that it was βok we have plenty of USB wall chargersβ, what was supposed to do? It was part of her BD present. Once I removed the fish body I found the drum as stated and changing the scenery with the different film provided was relatively simple. Now turning on the lights and figuring out the different buttons was frustrating to say the least. The on/off switch was about the size of this ? and almost hidden on the side and ΒΎ past the middle, there was nothing that indicated it was the on and off switch. There are 2 buttons above the On/Off switch close to the middle that have an A and B on them. If you canβt read Chinese youβll have no idea which button does what. Youβll have to assume they have something to do with the lights, you may be right but how long do you have to press each button for the light to function as advertised? Everything is trial and error.However if you have the patience to figure things out and try the light out it does turn out quite beautiful. There are several color choices you can select from, the carousel turns or stays still. Even without the remote you can turn the light, spin and timer feature with a push of the B button and the light goes off automatically in 1 hour. All without reading instructions(trial and error). My granddaughters bedroom is about 11 Β½β x 11β with 10β ceilings and I put the lamp closer to her closet by the back of the room rather than the middle of the room and the planets filled up the bedroom nicely! Where we bed is positioned she looked like she was looking at the sky. You could see the planets clearly, they also rotated at a very nice speed as well. I do think the $32 price is a little steep, especially with the my above stated problem and the ridiculous charging cord…if that is one thing buyers of this nightlight should do, is insist that Amazon have the maker of this product change the cord to a regular outlet plug-in instead of a USB plug for safety sake!! I for one will be contacting Amazon and asking them to do this after this critique ASAP! Thank you for your time.

The media could not be loaded. Β The product I received gets a five star rating but again itβs not what was advertised. I was excited and looking forward to seeing her look at the lights together. To make a short explanation the company sent something totally different than advertised, it was a birthday gift so we didnβt have time to return it. This was like a fish with different types of slides. I do love the little fish and is really adorable and happy to have given this as a gift.

The quality of it is not very tough and my first one stopped working. Iβm still giving it 4 stars because the seller was quick to replace it for me, it is cute and my daughter loves it. It does project well, and I think itβs worth buying but keep it out of reach of little hands

The media could not be loaded. Β I got this because the planets image and I thought they were cool but they are very childish in a bad way so don’t be fooled by the fancy image. I’d never choose that projection now that I own it. I’d give like 2 stars based on that one. But I’ll give 4 almost 5 because the stars are very pretty and the birthday and I love you slide are very cute!! I LOVE THE CUTE LITTLE ROMANTIC PROJECTION ? ADORABLE. I think there is a fish one too. It’s also neat that you can mix and match the slides to have the best of multiple worlds. I wish the light was brighter though. You can only see this if the room is rather dark so this is a night light mostly unlike a lot of other projectors you can party with. But it’s peaceful and perfect relaxing amount of light for bed or romance or your kid. Also totally quiet. And can be cordless and last once charged a bit! With diffrent color varieties too. Beautiful just different then what I thought. Very happy to have it though. ???

We purchased this light for our 2 year old daughters room to use in place of a nightlight mainly because she absolutely loves the stars and moon. I spent months trying to find the right light display that wasnβt too tacky with the display images and had the right colors, and ability to rotate. This one fit the bill perfectly. We keep this light on 24/7 and have for the last few months as our daughter loves seeing it on her bedroom ceiling when she is napping or sleeping at night. It also provides the perfect amount of dim light for us for her bedroom at night, and allows her to see if she needs to. We have the light mounted to the top of her bed canopy about 1.5β from the ceiling so it has a nice sharp image and where she canβt reach it or itβs cords. The best way to describe the light is bright enough to see things in the room, but dim enough where we still need a flashlight to read books at night for bedtime. If youβve been looking for a star projector (with the option to switch it up between slides, which is very easy to do) then I highly recommend this one. It has held up for constant use and the lights and light settings are very nice!

First of all, my 2yo adores his projector!The one we ordered came with a defective remote which prevented us from dimming the very bright lights for night time. We sent a message to the seller detailing our problem and asked for a replacement remote. The seller responded back within a day and offered to send us a whole new product which worked perfectly!We now have two projectors and the remote works for both.Takes a bit of practice to change out the side film but not too bad.Only thing that could be improved is for the dimming function to remain when the lights are turned off and back on. Everything else is kept the same except the brightness which reverts back to max brightness.
