Swap your ceiling light switch out for a smart switch, add this remote. Voila, you’re in the 21st century.

If you’ve never had any of the Lutron dimmers that work with the Pico Remote, I suggest you give it a try. I’d never recommend any other lighting solution for dimming than Lutron. Caseta and Alexa integration are cool new additions, but these were great even before that existed, and even better now. I won’t build, or move into a house, and not have these, and I’ve had years to make a decision on that. Buy a house with old style wiring, put some Lutron dimmers in, program the Pico’s, and you save yourself a ton of wiring. Obviously if you’re taking drywall or plaster down, do it the right way, but if you’re not, these are great. In a new build, you can find a ton of uses for these.

I recently remodeled my house and as part of it I installed all Lutron caseta switches. The caseta won’t work on any three+ way switches so I had to buy a pico remote. I can’t say how easy they were to install since my contractor did it but they were definitely easy to program into which lights I wanted them to work on! Love the dimming function and the ability to time/turn on/turn off all my lights from my phone and Alexa!

Easy to add a remote to the system. Can be wall mounted with a kit or used as a hand held.

Exactly the right unit to replace the old remote. Works Perfect!! I also glue a magnet on it so that it’s in easy reach from my couch on my metal 3 tiered stand.

I believe this is rated to work at a 30 foot distance, but I seem to be getting better performance than that…and in an area with a lot of Wi-Fi congestion.

I just wanted to add another remote to a different location in my garage. Works like a charm. I have had great luck with Caseta Pico Remotes. I’ve had varying success with the smart switches. I have both dimming and non-dimming smart switches (and their associated remotes). It’s a bit pricey but it works.

I’ve worked in lighting design and installation in high-end residential and commercial applications in a very pricey Colorado Ski town. This solution is fantastic. Runs dimmable lighting systems from ANYWHERE without having to run wire!! Fantastic. Lutron is expensive, but you can’t get better.
