The lighting in our master bath used 4-foot and 8-foot fluorescent tubes. I finally ripped all those out, and replaced them with these. It was easier than I could have imagined! The result looks great, with wiring much simpler and neater than what was there before. The design of these is ingenious. Each tube has identical 3-conductor sockets on each end. Then the kit includes four things you might plug into any socket: (1) a short straight connector that joins two tubes end-to-end with no gap; (2) a daisy-chain cable that connects two tubes together up to several feet apart; (3) a full wall plug with switch; and (4) a short bare-wire cable you use to connect to directly to house wiring (wire nuts not included). With these parts you have tons of flexibility to arrange these any way you need. In my case, I have a chain of 6 (some using the no-gap connector, and others using a cable) on one house circuit, and a chain of 2 on a second house circuit. I used twist ties to bundle up the excess cable. It’s all neat and clean. The tubes are substantially lighter than the fluorescent tubes and fixtures they are replacing, but just as bright if not brighter (and with no flicker or hum!).My only complaint is that the short cable you use to connect to house wiring has a sheath that goes almost all the way to the end of the wires, leaving insufficient room for wire nuts. I just used a knife to cut away most of the sheath. Not a big deal.I haven’t had a home improvement project go this smoothly in a long time. I’ll definitely be buying these again if I need to improve or replace the lighting anywhere else!

I replaced 4 dual 40W fluorescent fixtures in my garage. The 8 x 20W kit is much brighter. I thought the provided mounting screws/clips were a bit flimsy but they hold fine – the tubes weigh nothing.

So I’m old – I get it. The garage is dingier than it used to be and the two 100Watt (equivalent) light bulbs are more of an insult than a help to me, so when I flip the switch and these bad boys come it is soooo nice. I have confidence that I will find anything I’m looking for. Get a set and get the feeling of wow!

Love the lights. I added them to my basement… There is no need for any other lighting. These are simple to install, brighter than anything I have ever seen and very energy efficient.

Iโve used these for under counter mounts. Iโve daisy chained them to replace old 8โ fluorescent tube shop lights. Iโve used them to backlight dark corners of my greenhouse in winter. Iโm configuring them now for emergency lighting in a storm shelter. Bought the first ones 4 years back and they are still going strong! I use the included mounts or 3m double stick foam tape or 3m heavy duty velcro adhesive strips. All have worked well. Iโve even zip tied some to metal rack pantry shelving so I can see low in the back and they donโt get too hot for that.Very versatile, I am pleased.

Easy to install with lots of options. Bright white color temperature is fantastic for garage, laundry room and kitchen. Each 20 watt stick puts out more light than a Cool White 48 inch 40 watt florescant tube. Better lighting at one-half the electric usage. That’s a good deal!
