Good news first: the aurora and stars are beautiful and bright! This makes the thing 100% worth buying, but there are definitely some quality issues otherwise. The remote is incredibly cheap I worry it will break eventually. There are buttons on the machine itself but the majority of functionality is located on the remote. The IR sensor is also incredibly particular. You have to point the remote just so for it to work. The speaker is complete garbage, which wasn’t completely unexpected, but the quality is so bad that it renders even the built in ambient noise useless except for maybe at the lowest volume. The volume also does not go very high (probably intentional given how poor the quality is) which limits its use as a Bluetooth speaker. Some more nitpicky critiques: I wish the brightness could be changed for the aurora and stars separately. I really like the aurora at max brightness but prefer the stars at the dimmest. I also wish the stars were a bit less uniform. All in all this thing is pretty great! If you want something to throw pretty lights on your ceiling you can’t go wrong!

My daughter loves this. Sometimes I think she’s sleeping and I peek in and she’s just staring at the stars. I thought it came with a few sounds so that it could be a noise machine as well, but I haven’t figured that part out. Either way, I love looking at these lights. Beware, they are very bright and there is no way to dim it. I can read in a dark room with these lights on.

Localized entirely within your kitchen??Now you can have the Auroras anywhere you like, including your kitchen. This projector fills any room with colorful, moving, beautiful, swirling Aurora-like visuals. Customizable with any combination of four colors (R/G/B/W), along with variable speed & lighting intensity, as well as a green laser “starfield.”The device includes built-in audio tracks of background noise, but the loops are short & of low quality so you will be more likely to use the Bluetooth functionality for custom music/sounds or leave it silent. Built-in timer ensures it will be off by dawn. All the lights of the Auroras without the frostbite.

Bought for my teenage daughter who loves lights and music. She takes it to nearly every room with her. Speaker isnโt so loud that it bothers anyone else but loud enough for her to enjoy. It having a remote is a huge plus.

Bought this last year for a child night light and it has worked great. Beautiful (enough) colors projected on the ceiling every night heading to sleep. The bluetooth speaker is a nice feature but be aware it’s pretty low quality. Good enough for audio books, but poor for music. Has traveled well when on vacation.
