Just be careful letting your kid roughhouse with it. The light is essentially a small disk with the led and electronics in it and a silicone sleeve over it which fits into a gap around the edge of the disk, if that makes sense. The silicone sleeve (the part that looks like a puppy) comes off a little bit too easy in my opinion to give this toy to a really small child or one who likes to roughhouse a lot, as they might pull it off by accident and start playing with just the light disk. But it works great for me, I give it to my kid in the evening time and they aren’t afraid of the dark hallway or when I start turning lights off for nighttime. They like to play with it during the day as well, and it seems to hold up fairly well to minor bumps and drops. Only had it a little while, we’ll see how long it lasts.

This night light is very cute – puts a smile on our faces. The glow is also just right – not too bright. Itβs a soft glow to fall asleep to. The only issue is that the charge runs out rather quickly. After a few hours of use, you will need to plug it in to charge. It has a timer so it auto-shuts off, which helps a bit.

Remembering to charge nightly is biggest challenge for us, would never buy rechargeable night light again unfortunately. Cute, soft, safe in bed with kids and two levels of brightness. No complaints besides having to charge every night!

My grandchildren, ages 2Β½ and almost 1yr old, thoroughly enjoy this product. We don’t use it as a nightlight. The youngest just like squeezing it. The older one really enjoys changing the colors with the remote. Even the cat is fascinated with it. Has been hours of family fun.

I used this for my beloved Dixie Doodlebug a 17 year old Jack Russell Terrior with Canine Dementia and limited vision. She was very anxious at night and needed a little light but I didn’t want anything really bright and this was perfect. She did best with the blue color and the light is rechargeable. I used it every night for 10 – 12 hours for many months and I would recharge it about every 3 days.
