After considering several models of this lamp from different sellers, I bought this one for an interesting lighting solution for a bookshelf. I liked the simple remote control and the 3-dowel wooden stand, and because of the price markdown using an in-listing coupon for an overall price of $18.40.The lamp works perfectly.Comes with good instructions.The remote control is laid out nicely and is intuitive to use. Not cluttered with multiple color buttons.I like the fade feature which smoothly transitions through all colors. The flash button blinks through all colors (good for parties or holidays). The same color effects can be accomplished manually when holding the globe by using indented touch sensors on the bottom (in the shape of a smile) which manually dims or cycles between fade and flash, off/on.NOTE: Black physical power button on bottom of globe must be ‘toggled on’ for the lamp to work at all.The dim buttons are very dim to very bright, but do not work during fade or flash.The left and right buttons switch between colors without having to use the R, W, G, B buttons for color selection. Left and right buttons for W (white) changes to the warm colors more natural to the true moon – my favorite.The blue circle button next to the power button on remote toggles between current color and last used color.The timer buttons for 30 or 60 minutes work as expected. Good night light for kids.The lamp works while plugged-in. Some moon lamps don’t. Initially, lamp must charge for about 30 minutes before plugged-in use. Short usb power cord, 32″ (non-C type) and does not come with plug (for this reason gave 4 stars). Used spare plug with extension cord.Remote does not include AAA batteries (2).Conclusion: I would suggest this brand of moon lamp to anybody wanting one…possibly in the 7.3” size.

I had purchased a much smaller moon light before, and was very disappointed that while it was “moon like,” it was definitely not the moon.So I decided to try a larger size, which I thought would also give more light. It does do that.I didn’t even try to figure out the touch area on the light itself, other than to turn it on. The remote is much easier. Be aware that 2 AAA batteries are needed for the remote, and are not included.It has a standard USB micro cord, but no adapter is included. The stand is sturdy enough. But to keep the light plugged in you will have to angle the cord back, as it will not fit straight down from the light, not a major issue for me.There are 4 color options white, red, green, and blue. And each of these has three options with each button. But there are several more color options if you use the toggle switch. I personally prefer the warm white harvest moon color-the second picture.My only issue, and it’s more of a personal preference, is that the “seas,” and craters are raised, instead of depressed. And this may be an unavoidable part of the 3D printing process. That being said, it’s realistic looking enough.So overall I’m reasonably happy with this light, and would not have a problem recommending it to others.

This moon lamp serves fantastically as both a night light and decorative object.You can choose from many colors, but the lifelike white and yellow shades are particularly nice. I appreciate there are a few different hues to choose from (pure white, yellow, light orange, etc.). Best of all, you can adjust the brightness independent of color.My nephews love playing with it and they aren’t known for their light touch. It has survived more than a few falls.I have owned this for just under 4 months now, using it ~6-8 hours per night, and haven’t had any issues.A delight for the low price.
