   I’ve used other light strips in the past. Out of the box, I was pleased with this one. The box included extra items like mounting anchors if the adhesive isn’t enough to hold it in place for you. The strip is also light weight and lays flat so it was easy for me to hold it in place with some tape while positioning, before I was ready to stick it for good.I do have 2 concerns: The remote appears to transmit on the same frequency range as my external sound bar, so this may cause some problems. Also, my strip has 3 lights in a row where the red led is about 10% of the brightness as those around them. It is obviously more noticeable the closer to pure red it goes.All in all, still good. I will probably buy it again if I need more.

   Three of my biggest concerns about buying these lights was (1) its adhesion (2) its quality and how long it would last and (3) whether it would have colors that I liked. However, I haven’t had to worry about any of those at all! I’ve had the lights for about 3 years now and they’re exactly like how they were the first time I used them. In addition, the remote has options where you can make your own colors by adding/removing R/B/G and save them which is really cool. I would highly recommend these!

   I looked up multiple videos and instructions if I could cut it to make it shorter. I followed the instructions, made a clean cut and the whole strip stopped working. I spent all that time setting it up for it to be trash. I went back to it and realized I plugged it in upside down lol it’s a good product, I’m not expecting it to last forever but I’m happy with it for the time being.

   Overall great product. Purchased for TV in teenage son’s room (installed all the way around the back of the TV). The remote and adapter were lost during a recent move so we purchased a new set. The only “issue” which isn’t exactly an issue to speak of is that the TV remote occasionally changes the color of the lights (not all the time or frequently though – just occasionally). Both sets do this so I’m sure it’s a generic frequency thing between the remotes. It isn’t an issue for us because the product works great otherwise and is a great value for the money.

   Adhesive is really good even on painted wood. Breeze to set up. Remote control doesn’t have much distance to it but it gets the job done. Instruction book is written in English well enough you can understand it.
