The light is bright and white, perfect for inside a closet. The design is slim and sleek. Motion-detection is quick, with virtually no lag. You press the metal strip to your wall or door or under-cabinet. The adhesive pads are very sticky. The light attaches magnetically to the metal strip very firmly. No chance of it sliding or falling. To recharge, just remove the light from the metal strip and plug into a USB charger. That’s way better than trying to find the right sized batteries in your drawer and then taking the unit apart to install them, which is how most of these sensor-light things work. Of course, at some point, the built-in rechargeable battery will give out, but since the unit only operates for a few minutes per day in a closet, it should last several years. If it’s on for hours a day, it could still last a long time, like other small rechargeable lamps. Also makes a good emergency light in a power outage, and good hallway lighting for nighttime.

I received 2 light bars as described. I charged both upon the arrival. I took both lights down to the safe in my basement and did not need the double sided tape and metal plate for mounting but nice that itβs there if needed.The magnet is very strong and sticks to the safe well. Because the lights are so thin in profile. I was able to mount one in the upper left hand corner And the door clears the light. When I open the door the movement triggers the motion sensor and it goes on automatically. It is super bright and 1 light did the trick. I have the second in the safe as a back up if ever needed.This worked perfect for my needs. Now I just got them and canβt review how long the charge lasts or how long the lights work. I can follow up in a few weeks. But the product seems to be made well and as of now would definitely purchase again.

These lights are better than I expected. This is a set of two lights also includes two USB type C charging cords, two magnetic strips (they are magnetic and can stick to any magnetic surface without mounting materials) and two sets of adhesive stickers. I mounted the magnetic stripes with glue as I would expect the adhesive stripes included would not last long to hold them. I use them as under cabinet lighting in my kitchen which puts them close to an outlet and makes it easier to charge them. They do last long on a charge though and when I have forgotten to charge them up, I have found the batteries lasted for a long time. If you do have to remove them to take them to an outlet, if you use the magnet strips included, they are easy to remove. I have tried the motion detector and in my experience you have to be close for then to come on. It would be helpful If you choose to install them in a closet or cabinets where the movement would cause them to come on. If you are on the fence, give them a try! Iβm glad I did and I plan on purchasing another set.

These small lights are terrific. I’ve tried battery ones, yet they tended to need costly batteries to get them going. I different set was rechargeable, yet they were so heavy I’d often find them either on the kitchen counter or hanging slightly from under the cabinet.This set (2 per box) use simple USB cord to recharge. The light is just right, and the motion sensors are set such that if I’m 10′ away they don’t come on. They come on right when I need them to. Current ones continue to operate after several recharges.One simply removes tape from side of thin magnetic strip of metal, and places strip of metal glue side up underneath cabinet (can use in a closet, or just hang strip vertically) where you want light to shine. They are very light weight and they do not fall off. Simply wave by them if you think they need a recharge.Note the USB cord is not a plug. You need to have something that you can plug the USB into for recharging. Or you simply buy (yet you likely have one hanging around somewhere) an adapter that you plug USB into and the adapter then plugs into a standard electrical outlet.Repeat buyer, knowing they will make a fine present. Many older home don’t have outlets for wired lights, and using a wired set is both inconvenient and you can only place them as far as cord allows. This light set, simply place where ever you like. Prior to placing magnetic strip just make sure the surface you are attaching it to is free of dust, and convenient to reach and pull down for recharging!

These are bright and super easy to install. Recently installed them in a very small coat closet that has no lighting and probably shouldn’t be a coat closet to begin with because it took away valuable wall space in the bedroom directly behind it.The lights are great and I can now see all the coats I never wear, while I reach for my two favorite ones. I feel the other coats can now see me better to silently judge me when I open the door each time to make my predictable selection.However, I cannot figure out if I put them too close together on the ceiling as one will come on at a time and only once did both of them come on at the same time. That may have only been from my furiously waving my arms in the air to alert the sensor while jumping up and down.

That is, what ‘directions’ there are in the box! Ha! We had a light socket in the exhaust fan over the stove that was not working and thus could not take a light in the two-light structure. Also a dark place under the counter was a point of frustration for my wife. These points were taken care of with these lamps. I did have to call the service number after a few days…and the rep laid some good obvious words on me that I did the proverbial head-slap, “I should have thought of that!” Of course, if I would have read the directions THOROUGHLY the first time, I never would have had to call! Ha! Thanks for your part in making a happy wife!
