   So basically I bought these lights to illuminate my wardrobe closet and yeah these do the job perfectly.I use it in the day because even during the day there is no light coming to my closet and I had this problem for awhile now so I needed these. I just use the day mode which is the motion detection mode. Which is great. I put my hand near it and doesn’t have to be close and it turns on from almost two feet away. I got these a month ago in August no problems thus far they’re really simple to install. It has adhesive on one side and a magnetic strip on the other side of the tape. So just put the sticky side against where you want the light to be and you can just stick the light against the magnet and it stays there pretty steady. Its pretty convenient this way cause you can just take it off and charge it if you need to and then put it back on. In terms of battery life fully charged it on the day I got it and have been using it for a month haven’t needed to charge it since and I open my closet at least 10 times a day. Take with that what you will. I used the remote just to test it out to see how it functions but the way I use these lights I don’t really need the remote on a daily basis but with the time I had with the remote it is responsive I tested from like 5-10 feet away. Haven’t checked from a further distance.Overall great purchase recommend anybody who has a closet or a space they need some light to get these lights. I know after purchasing these lights they made my little closet feel a little modern.

   in my new house I have a shelved closet inside my master bathroom where I keep my jewelry and assorted other things that need to be able to see. So I got these for that location and I use the third one in my hallway coat closet just for quick grabbing so I don’t have to turn on the larger light. The battery life has been amazing – and I haven’t recharged them once in three weeks and I am in the closet in the bathroom several times a day. The motion detection is very good also when I do have them set for motion even in lighted conditions, so they go on in that closet even if my bathroom lights are on. I have two of them in that bathroom closet, which is maybe 30 inches wide, and no ne of the cancelling out that even the instructions warn about, but one is about 18” higher than the other. I think they’re pretty good brightness, but the one alone in the coat closet makes me wish they were a little brighter. Oh and super easy to install and nice strong magnets so they stay put. Definitely recommend

   These light up a closet pretty well; need multiple units to illuminate wider spaces, obviously. They hold a charge, but not as well as I anticipated. The magnetic strips have a tendency to detach, so the light falls down…had to screw them (magnetic strips) into the top of the closet to avoid this from happening. Otherwise, pretty cool, wireless lighting. Gets the job done.

   I have used these as a pantry light, outside above a exterior garage doorway/lock, closets, sheds withoutelectricity and rooms where it is difficult to find a light switch. Works great in all locations. A bit of advice:place the taped magnetic strip in place for a couple of days before placing LED light on strip otherwise the tape may not hold.

   The lights are great and are and excellent way to light up any dark area.Very important point …when you first get the lights, to use the remote with them here’s what needs to be done or it will not work. When you use the remote control for the first time, you must turn on the LED manually first.Process as follows:1. You need to first “manually” turn on the LED light through the function button on the LED light. (Long press for 2-3 seconds)2. Then turn off/on/mode selection/timing/brightness adjustment and other functions through remote control settings.

   I bought 2 sets of these. Used them inside kitchen cabinets to light up dark spots. So if I opened the door it would detect motion and turn on or if you put your hand in to get something it would come on that was not the best but ok. Problems:1. Magnetic base is so week if you just nudge it it falls off – sure you can Velcro or do something to affix this but the magnetic strip was very inadequate.2. Charging, I liked the base you can orderly put 3 off them and charge but the button presses and performed good in the beginning having red LED when discharged but later spotty – even if it is discharged it would light up blue meaning charged but not turn on at all. That is the glitch this if it is discharged should be red. Now after 8 months is not recoverable no matter how long I leave it plugged in to charge. It is now inoperable– Until I replace the charger! that was the fix!3. Light was ok adequate for small areasEdit because I got it to work with new charger. The button press setting/display is a glitchy and performance/quality is poor because of the magnet so weak – I will use heavy duty button magnets to make it work – have to buy this . Update the charger is what went bad and was able to charge using another charger — so still working so far which is not to bad — I give this a mid/low level rating because of all these misses in design.

   I really wanted to like these but I find I have to recharge them 2 to 3 times a day. They’re barely used during the day and maybe 4 times at night. When they are fully charged, they are great. Other times, not so much

   It’s aight, could’ve been brighter and longer, didn’t not light up much in the closet. Didn’t receive the items on time, the driver never delivered it even though I was tracking it on the map. Amazon customer service kept denying the missing package, kept me waiting for days.
