My guest bathroom has a light switch in an odd place that’s hard to find in the dark. This was a good solution, though a little on the expensive side for what it is. I probably would have preferred to have the switch itself glow, rather than an led on the plate that shines away from the switch, but this is an easier install than that. Shut off the power from your electrical panel, unscrew the old panel, and pop this one over so its contacts touch the contacts on electrical box. No need to change any wiring. It was a tight fit on my electrical box, and might be tricky to take off in the future. You can turn the LED off, low, or high any time just by pushing the led left or right. Though the high setting is still very dim. Just enough light to help you avoid running into things.

Installed this in an upstirs bedroom that has a couple steps at the entrance. It was easy to install and works fine, lighting the steps as intended. It does not have any motion detection, but just comes on as the room gets darker after sundown. It could be a little brighter, but otherwise works just as needed.

The light is not quite bright enough to be a bathroom night light. You’re still going to have turn on the lights for a midnight visit but at least you can find the light switch easier. Also not compatible with the Leviton 5691-2W. Make sure your power posts are both on the same side.

My wife wanted a night light for the toilet but there’s no outlet in there. This product is the perfect solution to the problem. It was easy to install and works perfect. It puts out enough light to see what you’re doing in the middle of the night but not too much. I really appreciate the almost analog nature of how the light fades on / off.

Installed per directions on single pole switch. Does not work at all. Reached out to manufacturer.There’s a three position slide switch : off, low, hi in this unit. Make sure that the switch is on the “on” position – all the way to the right.This isn’t mentioned in the simple install instructions. If you check the troubleshooting instructions, it says move the switch all the way to the left.So the switch does work.Note that when the wall plate light is on, a small amount of current flows through the circuit. In my case, this resulted in the overhead light illuminating slightly.The light isn’t very bright, but it may be enough. Jury is still out.

I installed by simply snapping unto existing fixture. There’s a little toggle on the plate that needed to be switched on to initiate the light sensor. I thought it was not as bright as expected but it’s still daytime so there’s hope.Update: this is pretty good, not too much for the hallway but a nice glow. The color! I forgot… the white isn’t regular switch cover white. A little mother of pearl.

I was looking for a nightlight for the bathroom. The only outlet in the room is controlled by a light switch so cannot use a regular plug in nightlight. This is perfect. It was expensive but easy to install. I can control the brightness of the lights.

Absolutely love having this nightlight feature! We have one of these light switches in our bathroom and also in our nursery! They work great and we will most likely be installing more throughout the house.
