   So I have mixed feelings about this product. But the positive first, they are very bright, easy to install, and the ability to adjust the light fins directionally is a plus. I installed the first two in my garage and ended up buying four more for our two basement storage areas. As other reviewer‘s have mentioned, they do a great job of lighting up the space. On the last positive side, they seem very cheaply made and hard to believe they cost over a dollar to manufacture so their markup is probably insane, That’s why I’m giving a three stars on value for the money.. Also again since they appear to be cheaply made, it’s unclear how long they will last. Only time will tell. Third, you really do have to be careful about looking directly into these lights particularly during installation. It would be nicer if there was an on off switch on the unit itself. It would also be nice if the individual fins could be rotated unidirectional he rather than just up and down in a 45° limit.

   These worked well in my garage ceiling. Garage door openers’ light sockets broke/melted/burned out, whatever a while ago, so i got the motion sensor outlet extenders and put these in as well, i wish i could adjust the light panels a bit higher range — i want all the light facing one direction really, but they work well, and are pretty bright. A bit brighter would be good.

   These lights are nice and bright, just what I wanted for my garage. They’re largely plastic, and feel assured if you aren’t careful they’ll break. Once they’re up, though, who cares! I’ll update my review if they burn out too fast, as did another brand I purchased.

   It is certainly easy to install, “if you can screw in a light bult”.The difference in brightness is clear. Plus, once I moved the fins it got better in lighting the entire garage.To get this amount of brightness, 8000 lumens it would take 500 watts of incandescent bulbs. I estimate I spend about 700 hours per year with these lights on. Using incandescent it would consume $77 worth of electricity (rate 22 cents per kilowatt hour here). With this bulb set up about $42. A savings of $35 per year, a good investment, pays for itself in less than a year!

   I purchased 2 of these lights to replace large voltage regular LED lights in the garage. These are awesome. The entire garage is bright enough to be seen by visually impaired family members. They do such an amazing job we need no additional lighting even in farthest corners.
