Some of the photos look a little repetitive. However table #2 is the candles turned off. Table #6 is the candles turned on with the lights in the room turned on. Table #’s 11 & 10 are with the candles on with the lights in the room dimmed. They worked well for our indoor wedding reception at a hotel. They stayed on the entire reception for 5 hours. The ivory pack of 8 seemed to have the least issues when it came to functionality of the candles. Out of 4 packs of 8 that I purchased only one candle didn’t work. However, out of 4 packs of 8 I had a total of 8 remotes, only 5 remotes worked. If I would have only gotten one package and no working remotes I would have been out of luck. However since I had extra remotes from buying so many packs I was able to use them on the packs of candles that came with non-working remotes. They do not come with batteries, which was okay, just wanted to put that out there for those that might be under that assumption that they do come with batteries. After reading the reviews I came to conclusion that it was a safer bet to get multiple packs of 8 rather than any larger pack of 12 just in case there was a defect in the larger pack. It also seems that the ivory has less cosmetic issues than the white candles according to previous reviews. They work great and still work great a month later.

These are nice “fake” (i.e., flameless) candles. The wax makes them look nice, and feel nice in my hand. I’m able to use them in regular candle holders meant for taper candles.The remote control works well, in my experience. I have not tried the timer function, however, but always turned them on and off myself.Each candle requires two batteries, so it gets to be kind of a lot of batteries if one wants to spark up the entire set. I’d prefer that the candles have built-in rechargeable batteries, with a kind of base that one could stick them in, then plug the base into the wall in order to recharge.It’s too early for me to say how long a set of batteries lasts in a candle. I’ve run mine for about ten hours in “on” mode, and weeks in “standby” mode (light off, but responsive to signals from the remote), and they’re still going strong.These candles aren’t especially bright, and don’t necessarily do much to light up a room. But I suppose that’s candles for you. The light they make is sufficient to look correct from an aesthetic perspective, they’re just not super great for actually providing light.

How can you tell a battery operated ‘fake’ LED candle is nearly as realistic as a ‘real’ wax candle? When multiple people try to blow them out!We purchased a set of these GenSwin Flameless candles in red after Christmas 2021 for our church as a safer option for the real candles we traditionally use in decorating the sanctuary for Advent & Christmas. Folks at church had always been resistant to switching real candles for fake ones because they just don’t look as good — something I’d generally agree with from past experience. However, these candles are about as close as I’ve ever seen to simulating real flame wax candles. I got a huge chuckle watching a few members of the congregation walk up to them after a service to attempt to blow them out, only to realize mid-inhale that they were fake!Now, even though I purchased them a year ago (after the Christmas season in 2021) we’ve only used them for one service so far this year (2022). I mention that because only time will tell if they last.I hope this review is helpful!!

Encased in real wax. On\off button on bottom. Turn on to use remote. Remove is extremely easy to use as each button has txt\image to avoid any confusion. Fits perfectly into my candle holder except first candle so might need to use candle holder wax or something. Now I can have nightly light in this space. Remote did turn them on around a corner. I would recommend them. I just need to get around my cats discovering them as something new and praying they wont knock them over 🙂

I took a chance on these because I have always hated battery powered candles. To me they usually look super cheesy and unrealistic. However these candles are amazing!They give off the best glow, the wick is kind of bendy, and the candles are waxy.These are perfect for me as there have been two different occasions that I have left the house or gone to bed for the night with candles lit in our home. These are safe, easy for anyone to use and I don’t have to worry if I forget to turn them off.Give them a try – you will not be sorry!

I rarely write reviews – and especially this quick – but we just received and set up four of the eight candles and are immediately impressed. The color, brightness and flickering motion make these look realistic from even a couple feet away. They stand up by themselves but we’ll be getting holders for them to use as holiday window sill lights. The remote works well – you do have to point it at each candle though to operate.

I almost burned my house down with real candles. On my advent wreath. This is best idea ever. I don’t care my candle color of white is not the colors. But I plan to wrap the candle in the appropriate colored ribbon.These candles are 100 percent perfect in every way! Thank you!

I am so so happy with these that I sat staring at them for at least 10 full minutes after I “lit” them up. They are so realistic that I forgot that I wasn’t actually looking at real flames. They are beautiful and feel like wax candles. No more drips on my Christmas tablecloth. LOVE them.
