   I love these lights, they are super pretty once up and I love how you can dim them as well as all the settings. Gives a nice ambience to my room. Putting them up was a pain and I wanted to scream because they kept tangling lol but once up it was all worth it! I also didn’t bother reading the directions so if you do it might not be such a headache.

   I spend much of my time in my apartment home,so it’s important to me to make it warm, cozy and fun. I bought the purple lights . They are hanging above my queen size bed close to the ceiling and in front of some of my fave artwork. A friend of mine hung them up for me and called me when finished. I walked into my bedroom and immediately felt bedazzled…I felt like a movie star. The purple adds a remarkable colour change, (slight), to everything. Love the remote control. The look that I chose is a bit bright for sleeping, ( I like the bedroom very dark when I sleep)…I have a nightlight only. I am very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it if you are seeking a POP when entering that room.

   Great product; looks great, attractive lighting modes, etc… see all the other reviews about all that.This review is just to share a couple things I learned that aren’t clear until you buy and experiment with the lights.1) The description says they remember the last lighting mode. This is only partially true. The lights will not remember the previous mode through a power cycle so an external timer will always turn them on in the default mode. The DO however remember as long as there isn’t a power cycle so if you turn the lights on/off from the remote or use the built in Timer function, they WILL remember the last mode.2) The description on Amazon and also the included instructions are both wrong with respect to how the timer works. I won’t detail that here, but here’s how they actually work…a) power on the lightsb) set the desired mode using the remote or sequencing the button on the USBc) click the timer button on the remote or hold the button for a few seconds on the USBd) the lights will blink 2 times to show that the timer has been set (opposite to what the directions say)e) repeat from step c above and the lights will blink 1 time to show that the timer has been cleared

   These curtain lights are very pretty, and I like that they have the USB plug at the end, but I definitely was not paying attention to the length when I ordered. These are 6.5 feet long. Definitely a good length for a normal sized room, but for the high walls in my office I may need to find something a bit longer. 🙂 Otherwise these are great so far and I would recommend them!

   Works great in the canopy and was easy to install since each line is tied separately. I waited to untie them until after I sewed them into the canopy and worked great!
