I needed to fix a ceiling fan light or buy a new fan. After checking the prices I figured a repair was much less expensive and actually easier if you have any experience with casual wiring. Looks like a solid product and you can’t beat the price for two. I will order these again if I ever need to.

It was easy to install, was same size as the old switch and easy to cram it all back together. This seller/ company really have you over a barrel since you can’t find replacement parts for these ceiling fans very easily. It worked and it is durable enough, but beware that it could change the operating speeds for each step of your fan. This switch might be designed for a ceiling fan with more than three speeds. So for my fan funnily enough the changes to three speed steps was an improvement, I like having the two slower speeds be much much slower than they were before and don’t mind that the top speed now is WAY faster than it used to be.

Ceiling fan stopped working (light chain would not pull or retract, as if it was stuck). Saw online that a common fix is to replace the switch. It seems like a standard size and just involved getting into the wiring and connecting a few wires together. The hardest part is just cramming all the wires back into the small space when done, but it worked great. Chain was a bit shorter than our old one but worked fine. Can’t really compare how smooth the chain of/off function is since 99.9% of the time we just leave the chain on and use a wall switch.

It was nice to be able to purchase these online. Recieved them quickly and was easy to replace on the ceiling fan.

I removed the old broken switch. Installed this new switch. And it was all good. It’s been a couple of weeks now. Works as advertised.
