Not exactly what I imagined but my boys love it. Gives them a sense that it is time to sleep. Not a great simulation of the night sky, but a reasonable representation and provides plenty of imagination for the toddlers and a sense of security with the light it gives off not too bright and not too dim. I think it’s laser light so be careful not to look directly at the light beams could probably damage your eyes. Not sure why there is a remote control star rating as I don’t have a remote for the product.

We love these! We have one for each of our kids, and they love having their stars on at night. It is relaxing while providing some light at night so the kids can see if they get up for any reason.

…and buy yourself one of these. It runs silently. It has different brightness settings and modes. You can project just the aurora without the stars if you want. Don’t pay any attention to the bad reviews. This will be the best useless thing you ever purchase!

I love this skylight!!! Was inspired to purchase after I saw a video from a YouTuber I’m subscribed to. I highly recommend! Only thing is I wish it had a timer and a remote. But still a great product!!

Bought this for my 6 year old son. It is absolutely incredible. Such a peaceful beautiful starry glow for the ceiling. We’ve had several and this one works way better than all the rest!

There was no remote for this product. It would be nice. However I LOVE it despite that. It’s peaceful and beautiful. I leave it on while watching TV and all through the night.

Creates an ambiance, not a realistic night sky. You can see the grid the “stars” are mapped out on, but if you have an weaker vision with a bonus astigmatism, they look just like stars! The options provide for a moving or static nebula/galaxies, and with or without stars. I bet it’s going to be fun to watch Harry Potter this winter with the blue glow overhead! Great way to have a room illuminated without having a bright light.

I love this purchase, however, my neighbor bought the dog astronaut version which seems so much better considering it’s the same price. It has more features and white noise etc
