   When I ordered them, I did not really think about their length, just got the ones that looked good. It turns out they are quite long, which is a good value for money. I was able to lengthen the one cord that was too short (the reason I bought these) and replace 2 more pulls in my house off of just one of the chains. Just used wire snips to cut between the beads and used the extra connectors. Good value to get so much length of chain and extra connectors.

   Initially as a pull chain replacement they were adequate. However the old adage “They don’t make them like they used too” certainly applies here. The first section I installed broke after a few weeks of moderate use. I dismissed it as a fluke or literal weak link. The replacement section broke yesterday.I suppose I am left to consider a alternative material.

   We installed a ceiling fan for my 89 year old Mom’s bedroom. The pull chains were way too high for her to reach, so we ordered these. I visited Mom yesterday and the chains hang very low, all she has to do is stretch from her chair and she can turn her light off/on. She loves it.
