   The fan was pretty easy to install, the hardest part was tucking the wires for the remote module. Sadly it doesn’t put out as much air as I had hoped, but my application is a non-standard situation outdoors.

   There’s a lot to like about this fan.Pros:VERY easy electrical. Three plug-ins and match the wire colors. VERY easy.Aesthetically pleasing. Very sleek.Can be used with a low ceiling; mine was an eight foot ceilingThe 22 watt dimmable light has more lumens (brightness) than most other fansPretty easy to install which leads to the consCons:While the wiring is VERY simple, getting the remote receiver and wiring into the housing is HORRIBLE. The housing should have been made at least a half inch larger. It can be done, but it’s a huge hassle.The airflow is okay, but I really needed a larger fan for a 12×15 porchAll in all, I feel it’s a great value for the money. Total installation time from opening the box was about three hours.

   I like it for the price and it had the light in the remote control it was not difficult to put together once you ignore the directions. Go by common sense not the directions

   The installation instructions are relatively straightforward, and the quality of the fan seems good for the price. One of the two that I purchased had a defective receiver that would not pair with the remote. A replacement is on its way.If you have an angled ceiling (such as found on a porch or deck), you will likely have an issue fitting the receiver/control module into the bracket that attaches to the ceiling. With the mount at an angle, one side of the hemispherical “ball” that rests in the support socket protrudes far enough into the available space to prevent the insertion of the receiver. The problem is the stiffener support (identified by the arrow in the attached picture); there’s just not enough room between the ball and the stiffener.I resolved this issue with a hacksaw, cutting the stiffener at both ends as close to its attachment points on the bracket as possible and removing it. This allowed the receiver to protrude slightly into the hole for the electrical box. The bracket itself is quite substantial and should not be affected by the removal of the stiffener.The only other complaint is that there does not seem to be a great difference between the lowest and highest brightness of the LED light. It’s quite bright at the maximum setting but cannot be turned down to a level more appropriate for evening ambiance. If you want a romantic evening out by the pool, you’ll need to break out the candles and shut the fan light off.

   Ordered 2 for outdoor patio. The led lights are bright and fan moves air well. Only have been hung for 10 days so can’t review longevity.

   My ceiling is pressured and setup for ceiling fans throughout my house, this ceiling fan uses a weird mount/anchor system luckily I was able to use washers and wood screws to get everything to mount correctly, my biggest issues with the fan is the installation it has the weird anchor and it also has so many wires and the remote box that controls the fan makes everything so tight and hard to maneuver and hook wires up. I did get the fan finally installed and it looks great and move air perfectly. Besides installation being a pita, I’m happy with this purchase.
