Difficult for us to install as we had never installed a ceiling fan. BUT we did it after struggling with the receiver location–ended up tucked in mounting bracket. Instructions were so-so. Like other reviews, we had a red wire in ceiling that we just capped as there was nothing available to attach to unit; seems the unit relies solely on remote, so DON’T LOSE OR BREAK IT. Also, now we have an EXTRA wall switch that does nothing. And yes, there is a beep every time a function is selected on the remote. The fan does shake a bit at the higher fan settings, but the lower settings are plenty for us.Aside all that, we LOVE the new look! Got rid of our dated, dusty, cruddy ceiling fan for this new sleek modern one. We pat ourselves on the back for figuring this out at 60 y.o. Advise watching videos out there beforehand if a novice. :)UPDATE: Installed our second ceiling fan, and this time it took a fraction amount of time. All seems to be in working order so far!

This fan was easily installed outside in the center of a metal 12×20 gazebo and helped in the heat of the day. We used it often in the course of 2 1/2 months as the metal roof caused the gazebo to get pretty warm. The breeze reached out several feet. The remote worked well, and the fan would be quiet most of the time, but after awhile, it did make a slight noise, possibly from a vibration, but would quiet down again. The metal construction of the gazebo does not provide enough stability to prevent vibration at high speeds, which is no fault of the fan. Being outside, the noise was tolerable, but don’t think I’d be happy with the noise if inside. Fan is attractive and even though we didn’t really use the light, it is a nice addition.

The light has 3 different settings to change from bright white to warm white- operated from the remote. Quiet, nice appearance, installed fairly easily but lots of parts. Canβt use it with our dimmer which is a bit unfortunate but we like it. Fan is quiet. Some of the instructions are difficult to understand because of language/spelling errors.

Fan puts off a good amount of air, looks really sharp, has so many different light options and speed options with the remote! We were skeptical about just 3 blades but this fan puts off more air than our 5 blade fans! This fan is silent and doesn’t require the annoying task of replacing light bulbs with a large, glass bowl underneath! This has led’s and a sharp, clean lamp and look to it.One negative though… the instructions we not helpful. The pictures do not match the parts included but installation was still pretty easy as long as you have a little bit of knowledge of how (or can look it up on YouTube!)

If you have ever put up a ceiling fan before, installation is easy. The motor and blades are very light and I had no issues lifting into place. The fan is quiet and moves air better than the five blade fan it replaced. Happy with this fan and wife even remarked if we need to replace any other fans she would want to get this same fan. Did have an issue with wobble and fortunately had a balancing kit from another fan available to help fix it.

5 Stars because the end result is worth it. If anyone one has corrections to what I have below β¦ PLEASE provide feedback.RemoteTop half is relatively straight forward. Bottom section is a bit of a head scratcher. β’ Light button turns on / off the light. To change the color temperature, press the button consecutively (6,000k, 3,000k, and 4,500k). It is NOT a brightness setting as some have stated. The next time the light is turned on it will remember the last temperature setting. β’ Power button only turns the fan on / off. Normally a button with that icon would turn an entire unit on / off, however in this case it is just the fan. β’ Reverse button (in the center of number buttons) changes the direction of the fan. According to the manual, down draft is better for the summer and the reverse is better in the winter. β’ Home button does β¦ heck if I know. It is called the βSimulate a human burglar lamp.β My experiments have provided no further insights. β’ βNatural Windβ button seems to turn the fan on at the β4β setting. β’ Timer button provides an ~1.5 minute delay βoffβ for the fan. β’ 1H, 4H and 8H buttons provide fan off timers.ProsLooks GREAT. The fan motor is completely silent, the only noise is from the movement of the air. Itβs also very nice to have an option of different color temperatures. Lastly, for my installation there is no vibration even at the fastest fan setting.ConsInstallation was difficult. The instructions were poorly written and the images were inaccurate. The screws for installing the LEDs were way too short and caused a lot of frustration.

This fan compares very well to the $400-$600 fans I’ve had in the past. It was fairly easy to install, is silent when running, and looks beautiful. The blades look like pieces of furniture– rich wood tones and low gloss finish. The only downside is that the light allows only bright, medium, and soft settings, rather than being fully dimmable across the spectrum from off to bright. I ordered this 60″ and the 52″ at the same time. They were supposed to arrive at the same time, but only one arrived in time for the electrician to install. I had to return the 52″ when it arrived 4 days later, because the electrician had come and gone.
