I put in 12 of the cheep plastic screw in light bases and used cheep Menards LED 100W equivalent bulbs. Those did not last a winter. The first set of these I bought are going on to their second Winter. Our garage is not heated or cooled (not even insulated yet).

For those of us “vintage” people, having bright light is essential. Wow. These lights do the trick. Garage, basement, dimly lit stairs, this is what you’re looking for. Easy to install too.

These are great lights. They are not attractive so I wouldn’t use them in a home. For the garage or studio they are incredibly bright. If you have sockets. I use them in my studio which had “can lights”. They were never bright enough. I had to buy extenders for the unit to reach the socket. Installed them and “WOW”!

This is exactly what I needed for my garage. It turns my dim garage to bright daylight. Don’t look directly at the light though as it will hurt looking at it. Easy to install, the panels fold to the positions needed to throw the light where I need it. I have had the light for one week, so I don’t know how well it will hold up for the long term. I would definitely buy this again if it lasts like it is advertised.
