I used these light in luminaries for Halloween. The bags were white, and I used 2 lights to each bag and they were brighter than I thought they would be I was very happy with them.

ADDENDUM: These start out bright white, which I didn’t so much care for. I forgot to turn them all off before bedtime last night, so they have been on for 24 hours now. And now I like them! They have mellowed to a warmer white — a lovely, natural candle-flame color. The flickering is about the same as if there was a continuous flow of air through the room, e.g. as if heat or A/C were on, or a window open somewhere.I like them much better now than I did at first light. And maybe the fact that they start out so bright means they will last longer..? 🙂 :-DNOTE: review is for JUNPEI 24 tealights, warm white, flickering. This brand is a brighter white than I prefer. The flicker rate & flicker brightness varies a bit, some have a more subtle flicker, others are more detectable but could slow it down a little. But over all, they’re fine. Inside the box, they are held in by the “flame” piece — these flame pieces are more rubbery than plastic, and it’s a little hard to pull them out. At first I was afraid the flame piece would pull out or break by tugging it, but so far so good. The brand I bought last time (AGPTEK here on Amazon) was a ‘warmer’ white, and in my opinion had a more realistic flicker. These are fine, but I decided to buy replacement batteries for the AGPTEK instead of buying more of these. If anything changes, I’ll write an addendum.

Battery lasts longer. We like to use this in our praying room. Instead of real candle we have this one lit on every time. Cheaper to get this than replace battery

These light are great. They have a soft flicker and last a long time. I tested one by leaving it on to see how long it would last. The eighth day of being in nonstop, it began to dim.
