These lights work great! Would totally buy them again, great value for the price. No issues so far. Hereβs what Iβve encountered so far by category.TANGLING: People are saying they get tangled, but I just unrolled a couple feet at a time and stringed them up as I went and that wasnβt an issue for me at all.UNBOXING: Lights are wrapped up backwards when you get them so it takes some brief planning to see where you want to put them. It comes with two stakes (I didnβt use them and set the solar panels in a window sill and works fine). Comes with TWO sets of LEDS in the box.LOOKS (WIRING): I just put them in my window, SUPER discreet solar panels (3 inches across maybe) and thereβs a good 4 feet at the end of each roll that isnβt lights but is clear wiring, which is great so at night you canβt see the led lights trailing off to the window in a weird way. During the day they look like thin black wires.BRIGHTNESS: they werenβt nearly as bright as I was expecting. The pictures look brighter than in person because of the light from my window. Theyβre definitely more like fairy lights, and each βbulbβ is pretty spaced out on the string of them, so itβs sparse if you donβt bunch them up. I doubled them back across my cabinets several times and taped them underneath my cabinets and they look great, and are just bright enough to not stumble in the dark when you want a late night snack. These would also be great for aesthetic for parties just for accent or for the kitchen like I did.MODES: you just press the βonβ button and they turn themselves on when they sense the darkness outside, thereβs no need to keep turning them on and off like some people have in these reviews (who were bothered they have to click through 7 modes to get to the plain light mode, but that is a one time thing, it keeps the same mode during the day until it comes on at night again). Plenty variety of modes. Flashing, alternating flashing, fading, etc etc. I was surprised at the number of modes.

Great bright lights that will last all night (10-12hrs) on a good charge. I have different varieties of this type of light. This brand is the bright green on the ground. (Thereβs a different, but equally good brand on the bushes) I have them kind of clumped together to look like theyβre oozing and even with the street light (grrβ¦) baring down on them, they are still very noticeable. They come on at dark (6:30 ATM) and turn off at dawn. These tiny lights are on, what seems to be a thin fragile flexible metal strand that is nearly invisible. Iβm actually surprised I havenβt broken the cord since (being ON the ground in the yard) my kids, dog, and I have tripped over them numerous times setting up our decorations and theyβve held up.Being a metal cord, they donβt lie down nicely like regular string lights do and you have to be careful not to pull them off, but you can secure them by pinching or swirling the strand around a stem or use ties.Iβm planning on ordering more for some corded Christmas decorations that have lights that no longer work.

I rated these lights a four only because they were not what I expected and the design with the small solar attachment make them more difficult to install. These are bare wire NOT in a cable or plastic rope inclosure. When you are trying to wrap them around the rails of the porch, the attached solar charger has to go around each time also. It doesnβt detach. The wires are very thin. They do bend easily so thatβs a plus but we will see about the durability.I have to say the lights are tiny but very bright. I am wAiting to see how well they charge in the winter cloudiness and sun. They do NOT have a plug-in so solar is all you have. Too cloudy for several daysβ¦.no lights!! And not sure why they donβt say OUTSIDE Christmas tree because you need the sun unless they expect you to duck tape the solar charger to a window??The cord length to the solar panel is a good length to place where you need it which is good. And the twinkle and different modes are great and save on the battery life.Overall, not bad but should be cheaper for what you get. If you are like me though and donβt read every single fine print word and scrutinize every picture, you can be fooled. These are NOT rope lights. They are bare wire tiny lights.

Update: Well, they charge up pretty quick. There is a button to turn them off, which I do in the morning and then let them charge. It has been pretty cloudy up here but they got enough charge to last all night again. I am happy with these.I was pleasantly surprised as I unwound the lights, that when I pressed one of the two buttons on the back of the charger, voila!! Twinkling lights. You have know this. You will get these and they appear small and THERE ARE NO BULBS THAT YOU SEE. What the heck? But i gave it a try and pressed one of the buttons on the back and on came the lights and there are SO MANY. They are very pretty and there are three, four, five different settings you can choose from. There is slow change from red to blue twinkling, there are red to blue but constant no flickering, there are fast flickers ….It is great!! I have included a pic so you can see how bright they are. Nicely light my back yard ‘bush’ and a wreath on a door. It is SO NICE not to have to plug them in or worry about the electrical. Now…we will see how they charge up but for now….nice.

3 photos, 3 wreaths. You define dazzle. I thought it would be brighter, my definition has disco ball type imagery. 3 days after install even less bright. Durability unknown at this point.PNW isnβt ideal for solar this time of year so I feel Iβm being generous.Strings were hard to install since solar panel doesnβt detach. Weave in & out & through the wreath – the twisting was frustrating. Too much work to replace them for brighter lights now (too busy).Maybe Iβll edit at the end of month, hopefully they stay βbrightβ.
