I bought the 6″ lights and the were PERFECT. Took me about 4hrs to install (most of the time was spent running the eletrical through the attic) and was done 98% alone, with no help needed. You WILL need a 6 & 3/8in hole saw, and 3/8″ plastic Snap-in connectors. For the price of the lights, the Romex connectors should have at least been included. Overall I’m happy with them.

These lights look nice when installed and were easy to install. They’re small enough to install directly beneath a joist (using 5/8″ sheetrock and 3/8″ RC, it would be tight with just 1/2″ sheetrock and no RC). Wiring them was easy enough with typical 14/2 romex. The jbox fits in the hole and just rests on top of the drywall. They don’t get overly hot when in use (the backs to get quite warm, though it shouldn’t be enough to cause anything touching it to combust). Overall, I’d recommend them.

I came up with a way to install these for my unfinished basement ceiling. What a difference! I have them on the 3000K setting but might change to 2700K after we get the joists painted.Iβm not sure I chose the best Romex connector (plastic ones) for the jbox, but I made it work. I had some metal ones I liked more, but I couldnβt insert them without completely bending the box.I have these on a supported dimmer, but I donβt think they dim enough for me. I prefer to dim down to just barely any light.Regardless, these lights are awesome. The install is easy, but all the other prep work for my situation was exhausting. I have 31 lights in total.

I am pleased with this purchase and follow up from the company.I like the white color variations from soft to bright. Color must be set prior to placement but also works with a Dimmer switch.

Amazing. These are so easy to install, and I love the push-in wire connectors in the box. I love the color temp switch, I have these set all the way to 2700 warmest and itβs just right for my style. Iβm using a Lutron dimmer and I do with they went slightly lower, but LED lights canβt go as dim as regular bulbs. But with how good these lights are it doesnβt really matter.

5000K is a sweet spot between 3000K and 6000K. It is a true white daylight temperature compared to bluish tint in 6000K and yellowish tint in 3000K. They are very bright and we ended up installing them 7 feet apart and did not have any dead zones. For larger space, you can even space them staggered at 9 feel with adjacent row staggered.

These lights are great for the money and the look. I build new construction homes for a living. These are typically used for remodel jobs. You really have three types of lights, these, pucks and recessed. For the ease and look of these you canβt beat the money. They also offer different light colors. For instance I used bright white for the garage and soft white for inside of the house. If you go to other big box stores and buy these they are significantly more expensive and they never have enough for a large job.
