I purchased these specifically because they offer 3500k and are flush, not louvered or convex. I was hoping to get the style that you just screw a piece into the light socket but I did not find one that offered 3500k and were flush. My BIL stopped by for a visit the day after these were delivered and ended up swapping all 10 of our old louvered can lights in about 3 hours or so. He saved me! I thought I would be able to swap them out myself but removing the existing cans is more involved. He suggested that we run a small bead a of caulk around the edges because there are a few small spots that the rim does not cover. I am happy with them so far and am so glad we made the switch. It makes our kitchen look much more modern. The originals were from 2005 and yellowed. I plan to purchase more in the future to add ceiling lights to our bedrooms that have none.

Can’t say anything bad about these… Grab you a 4 1/4 (Four and a quarter) hole saw for the holes and go to town. I installed these under my eaves of the house. I installed 9 total and they look great. Well lit. I installed with another manufacturers wi-fi switch so I can set when they come on and go off. Installation is easy and they have multiple kelvin ranges you can set them on. I choose 3000K for my home. So, what I would do… if I were you is purchase a wi-fi switch that also has DIMMING capabilities so you can turn them down… if you feel the need or just to have the capability. I LOVE KASA products but that’s for another review. These lights are actually slim enough, to where if you mis-driled a hole, they’d still fit without hitting the rafter because they’re thinner than the plywood. Don’t do this though, I’m just telling you it’s not a fail if you make a mistake. You generally can’t reach that far out when you’re in you attic because of the slope of the roof. So measure twice and cut once so this isn’t something you run into.

Half the cost of similar lighting at most lumber centers and appear to be of decent quality. Easy to install and they are very bright.
