First, the box cover image is very misleading. This light string will only produce 1 color at a time. This is not an addressable strip just RGB.Second, it states two reels. This requires the power supply to be in the middle of the strips ( the box has a Y to connect the two strips) You can not chain the the strips together. I did test to see if they would light up okay when chained, and they do, but there is not a connector at the end of the strip to allow the next strip to be plugged in (this may be a power and/or saftey “feature”). You cannot put power at one end and expect to run a line 100 feet long as a result.Out of 1 and 1/4 strips I have up. I have 1 LED that twinkles slightly. Not overly noticeable, but once seen, you can’t unsee.I used Hot Glue ( reasons) so I can’t speak to the adhesionThe Mic feature is responsive, however the lights tend to strobe multiple colors rather than dim and brighten with a pre-picked color. ( I would love the team’s colors to dim and brighten based off the crowd noise on the TV, instead I get a strobing effect of a bunch of random colors)Also, the app has some “scenes” that have some predefines. Some are nice and some are obnoxious.there are some that will fade from one color to another but you cannot define the two colors.FInally, you cannot get a yellow to show up A good RGB value for yellow is 250, 250,60However the closet you can get when putting in those value in the app is a color that looks like a saturated 150, 255,200.I wasn’t looking or expecting true color or a lot of features, but slightly disappointed by the lack of yellow, and unable to program a fade from one color to another.The remote that comes with it does appear to work but only when it wants to, the mobile app is much better and works with bluetooth so no internet of things worries.

A lot of the reviews said you could not cut these like other brands. But I cut these in the center of the 3 brass lines (not to be confused with the raised silver beads). There are no instructions included on how to cut them.Also some reviews said their light strip came with a corner piece – mine did not.The lights do change color, flash to music, slowly change colors, etc. BUT you are not able to have half the lights 1 color and the other half a 2nd color – at least not that I have figured out.

These lights are good for how much they cost. There’s a lot of length to work with. A caveat to their price is the lower quality of RGB LED. You can see the RGB diodes at a glance so they’re probably better for ambient light where you don’t see the lights themselves. The remote works well, but unless you want solid colors or rotating/flashing rainbow, you’re better off using the app. Mine didn’t connect to the app and customer service was very helpful, kind, and replaced the problem part for free. I received the replacement 2 days after sending the email and it works perfectly now :)If you want cheap lights that are bright and add nice ambient light, these are great. If you can afford to get more expensive lights, Twinkly lights are phenomenal.

Lights are fantastic, my walls have a weird bumpy texture so I was worried they weren’t going to hold but they’ve held out super well the past three months. Lights are still strong. Technically you’re not supposed to do this but you can bend the strip over itself to make it bend and turn a different direction so you don’t really need the connectors in my opinion. It looks a little funny but you don’t notice it easily.

Has adhesive all over the back..not just in spots. Easy to put up. Easy to use. Way better than what I THOUGHT I had purchased which was a rope light I would’ve had to buy something to hang or secure it. This, I needed nothing besides what was in the box. Leaving it rolled up and on WILL CAUSE IT TO GET HOT. Once spread out, it doesn’t and one can be unhooked..you don’t have to use both strips

Bought this to try it out for my daughter room have to say set up was very easy light stick on as should the brightness and color are amazing the only reason why i drop a star my remote came damage thank god for the app itself as well as the adapter That’s is needed if you want to attach the to roll together and if you only use one 50 feet roll you have to buy another connecter

$16 for 100 feet of LED strips seems like a really good deal. It sort of is but sort of isn’t allow me to explain.Comparing these two 50 foot strips with the old ones I’m replacing I’m noticing the spacing is twice as far. My old LED strips had a diode every inch where as this on only has a diode every 2 inches. So that’s effectively half the amount of light and diodes. Assuming the diodes are the same brightness but I’m not sure yet. I would assume if it had the same spacing and more diodes it would of brought the total price closer to $30.Another thing I noticed is there is no clear rubber coating over the diodes. So DO NOT touch the diodes. Oil from your fingers can cause them to break. Much like touching the head lights of a car.The final difference is the amount of places you can cut the strip. Making sizing harder with these LES Strips and you may need to have overlapping strip segments.All in all I’m not too disappointed with them. They’re cheap, as long as they last as long as my old strips I’ll be satisfied.

This is absolutely wild! I only needed 50′ for my ceiling and im thinking of running the rest on the floor. The lights are beautiful! It came as programed white with blue and since it’s winger right now it makes it feel like a cozy winter cottage with snow all around. I absolutely love these lights definitely recommend!! 10 out of 10
